Luxury Realtor Marilyn Wilson has teamed up with Mercedes dealer Star Motors for a rare open house at a million-dollar property.

Want to spend a bit of time in fantasy land today? Then check out an open house at a stately mansion in Manotick that’s being dressed up with a handful of new Mercedes arrivals from Star Motors.

As a general rule, luxury homes don’t have open houses, but listing agent Marilyn Wilson wanted to create some buzz for her motivated seller so she’s teamed up with the car dealer for the special event.

“If you love luxury homes and you love luxury cars, then be there or be square,” Wilson says. “We have this gorgeous house that is a must sell.”

The Rideau Forest custom home features seven bedrooms, an array of Palladian windows, multiple Juliet balconies and 19-foot ceilings in the foyer and family room. Listed for $1.995 million, it includes a workshop, gym, pool, professional kitchen and sits on a two-acre forested lot.

The Manotick home, which is listed for $1.995 million, includes an expansive two-storey family room with a bank of Palladian windows and three Juliet balconies.

Parked out front, Yves Laberge of Star Motors will have three models on display: a GLA45 AMG; an E63 AMG S-Model; and the all new AMG GT S-Model.

“We enjoy working with Marilyn Wilson because she is very good at what she does, extremely successful and a loyal customer,” says Laberge.

The open house is on Friday, July 24, 2015 from 2-6 p.m. at 1500 Lords Manor Lane.

There’s a pool, of course, and the two-acre property backs onto a forest.
